Leona A. Eversgerd 88 of Germantown died Saturday May 22, 2004 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO

She was born April 26, 1916 in Germantown Twp., to Bernard and Josephine (Hermeling) Pingsterhaus: they preceded her in death

She married Vincent Eversgerd August 27, 1935 at St. Boniface Church in Germantown and he preceded her in death Jan. 16, 1970

Also preceded in death by brothers; William, Bernard, Aloys, Lawrence and Vincent Pingsterhaus, a sister Wilhelmina Loepker, brothers-in-law Anton Loepker and Joseph Netemeyer, sisters-in-law Emma Pingsterhaus and Evelyn Pingsterhaus

Surviving are sons Maurice (Ruth) Eversgerd of Germantown, Gerald (Nancy) Eversgerd of Edwardsville, Vincent (Janet) Eversgerd of Pierron, Joyce (Donald) Litteken of Centralia

15 grandchildren Melissa (Carl) Kuhl, Lynn (Denis) Eversgerd-Haddad, Karen (Jon) Hoelscher, Justine (Kurt) Thole, Aaron Eversgerd, Eric (Holly) Eversgerd, Jayson (Daniella) Eversgerd, Lora (Myles) Hinkel, Nicole (Joe) Flores, Chad Eversgerd, Jennifer, Adam, Erica, Alicia and Garrett Litteken

6 great grandchildren Gabrielle and Alexa Hoelscher, Makenna, Samuel and Bradyn Kuhl, Blake Hinkel

2 sisters Marcella Netemeyer of St. Louis, Mary Ann (Bob) Haar of St. Louis

Sisters-in-law Sophia Pingsterhaus and Dolores Pingsterhaus both of Germantown

Leona was a homemaker

Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Germantown

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday May 26, 2004 at 11:00 am t St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. Stephen Humphrey officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 25 from 4 to 9 PM and on Wednesday May 26 from 8 to10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received through the Moss funeral home
