Jerome J. “Jerry” Hilmes 67 of Carlyle died Wednesday June 7, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese

He was born December 18, 1938 in Little Prairie to Ferd and Dolores (Pax) Hilmes: they preceded him in death

Also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Wilfred and Charlotte Hilmes

He married Joan Jenne April 29, 1961 at St. Felicitas Church in Beaver Prairie and she survives in Carlyle

Also surviving is a son Steven Hilmes of Carlyle

A daughter Nancy Hilmes of Carlyle

Brothers Sylvester (Julie) Hilmes of Breese, Ferd (Geraldine) Hilmes of Little Prairie, Robert (Mar) Hilmes of Carlyle, Joseph (Dot) Hilmes of Carlyle, Gerald (Marilyn) Hilmes of Carlyle

Sisters Florence (Ray) Usselmann of Breese, Alice (Wilfred) Pendergrass of Aviston

Jerry was retired from the Ford Plant in St. Louis and was engaged in farming

Member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Carlyle, Clinton County Farm Bureau

Funeral Mass Saturday June 10, 2006 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church in Carlyle with Fr. George Mauck officiating Interment St. Anthony Cemetery in Beckemeyer

Visitation will be held on Friday June 9 from 3 to 9 PM and on Saturday June 10 from 8 to 9:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home
