James L. “Jim” Kuhn 86 of Trenton died Thursday November 6, 2008 at Countryside Manor in Aviston 

He was born April 8, 1922 in Trenton to Walter and Ellen (Montgomery) Kuhn Sr.: they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by a sister Dorthea Kuhn 

He married Ruth Newkirk May 14, 1947 in Steelville, IL and she preceded him in death January 2, 1985 

He married Dorothy Barksdale-Pugh February 1, 1986 at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton and she survives in Trenton 

Also Survivng are daughters Elizabeth “Pehg” (John) Zeller of Trenton, Wendy Haas of Centralia 

Step children Phyllis (Howard) Beemer of Pittsford, NY, Charlyne (Don) Turken of St. Louis, MO, Stuart (Shirley) Pugh of Haymarket VA, Charles R. “Ricky” Pugh of Melbourne FL 

2 granddaughters Kassie (Tim) Fisher of Swansea, Courtney (Jesse) Davis of Trenton ~ 10 step grandchildren 

3 great grandchildren Kameron, Taylor and Emily Fisher ~ 17 step great grandchildren 

A brother Walter “Red” (Vera) Kuhn of Trenton 

Jim owned and operated Kuhn Construction for over 50 years and was a Navy veteran 

Member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton, Trenton VFW and American Legion Post 778, Laborers construction local 480 in Freeburg 

Funeral service Monday November 10, 2008 at 11:00 am at St. John United church of Christ in Trenton with Rev. Linzy Collins Jr. officiating Interment Trenton cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Sunday November 9 from 4 to 8 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton and Monday November 10 from 10 am to time of service at St. John United church of Christ in Trenton 

Memorials can be made to St. John United Church of Christ, Christian Home Care, Heartland Hospice and will be received at the funeral home 

Trenton VFW and the American Legion will hold services Sunday November 10 at 7:00 PM at the funeral home
