Eleanor M. Ranz, 80, of Aviston died Thursday July 3,
2003 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born May 8, 1923 in Arnprior, Ontario Canada to Clarence
and Ann (Rhode) Scheel. They preceded her in death.
She was a member of Grace Community Baptist Church Trenton and a
home maker. She graduated from Ottawa Teachers College.
She married Lester Ranz August 13, 1949 in Arnprior Ontario and
he survives.
She is survived by sons David (Joan) Ranz, James Ranz and Glenn
(Vickie) Ranz all of Trenton, daughters Lenore (Hal) Gray of Trenton
and Carolyn (Gary) Smoot of Sterling, Illinois
Also survived by 9 grandchildren, Tim, Chris, Erin and Meghan
Ranz, Philip, Justin and Jonathan Gray, Kestrel and Katelyn Smoot.
Funeral services will be held Monday July 7, 2003 at 10 am at
Grace Community Baptist Church Trenton with Reverends Bobby
Neighbors and Robert Marsh officiating. Interment is in Trenton
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton
Sunday July 6 from 4 to 9 Pm and Monday July 7 from 8 am to 9:45 am.
Memorials can be made to Grace Community Baptist Church Youth
Ministries and will be received at the funeral home.
