Jeff Richter, 42, of Breese died Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis

He was born December 14, 1960 in Breese to Jack and Deane (Ratermann) Richter; they survive in Breese

He married Carla Gebke on September 10, 1994 at St. Dominic Church in Breese; she survives in Breese

Also surviving is a daughter Katie Richter of Breese

A Brother Russ (Trish Walsh) Richter of St. Louis

Sisters Sue (Reed) Rehorst of Buffalo Grove, Sandy (Mike) Lutz of Decatur,  Michelle (Ken) McBride of St. Peters, MO, and Sarah (Matt) Comstock of Davis, CA

Paternal Grandmother Anna Richter of Breese

Nieces and Nephews Mary and Kyle McBride, Abby and Rachel Lutz, and Anna Comstock

Jeff was in cost accounting for Rehkemper and Son Inc. Building Components in St. Rose where he was employed for 23 years

He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese, Breese Rod and Gun Club, and A.B.A.T.E.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 11 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating.  Interment in St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese

Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2003 from 4 to 9 PM and again on Saturday, February 8, 2003 from 8 to 10:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

Memorials can be made to his daughter Katie’s Educational Fund and will be received at the funeral home.
