Ret. Msgt John Robert “Bob” Ross 69 of Aviston died Thursday January 5, 2006 at St. Joseph hospital in Breese

He was born April 10, 1936 in Kane PA to Bernard and Ruth (Malone) Ross: they preceded him in death

He married Patricia Kelley August 20, 1957 in Mt. Jewett PA and she preceded him in death January 17, 1992

Also preceded in death by brothers Bernard and Wilbur Ross

He married Judy Yochum June 26, 1998 in Creve Coeur, MO and she survives in Aviston

Also surviving are sons Martin Ross of Wildwood MO, William (Kerry) Ross of Boston MA

A Daughter Teresa (Scott) Norris of Jasper IN

Step children Cristy Trumpeter of Hammond LA, Cynthia (Michael) Blessing of Hammond LA, and Colleen Harris of Maplewood, MO

9 grandchildren

Bob was a Ret. Msgt from the United States Air Force, serving from 1954 to 1975. Retired from Scott Air Force Base as an Administrative Supervisor. He also owned and operated Ross TV Repair Service

Member of Christian Family Church in Belleville, Aviston American Legion Post 1239

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday January 8, 2006 at 8:00 PM At the Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Rev. Mark Queener officiating.

Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery St. Louis, MO at 1:15 PM on Monday January 9, 2006

Visitation will be held on Sunday January 8 from 5 to 8 Pm at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese

Aviston American Legion members will hold services at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:00 PM

Memorials can be made to Christian Family church and will be received through the funeral home
