Florine M. Schmitt 86 of Trenton died Sunday September 25, 2005 at Country Side Manor.

 She was born May 16, 1919 in Blackjack Il to William and Mamie (Loyet) Siegel

 She married George “Butch” Schmitt on October 22, 1946 in Blackjack, IL.  He preceded her in death on July 2, 2000.

 Surviving sons are Herb (Ann) Schmitt and Cyril Schmitt both of Trenton, IL, Don (Kathy) Schmitt, Jerry Schmitt, Lavern Schmitt  all of Summerfield, IL.

 A daughter Mary (Tom) Fleming of Trenton.

 She is survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren

 Surviving sister is Katherine (Ben) Baechle of Mascoutah

 She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Billy Siegel

 Florine was a dressmaker and homemaker.

 A member of St. Mary’s Church and Ladies Sodality, V.F.W. Aux. and Ex- P.O.W. Aux.

 Funeral mass Wednesday, September 28 at 10:00am at St. Mary Church Trenton.

 Visitation 9:30 to 10:00 at St. Mary Church Trenton

 Memorials can be made to Heartland Hospice, St. Mary Church and St. Mary Cemetery and will be received through Moss Funeral Home in Trenton who is handleing  the arrangements.
