Clarence J. Schumacher 82 of St. Rose died Saturday November 22, 2003 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese

He was born October 19, 1921 in St. Rose to Gerhard and Emilia (Holtgrave) Schumacher: they preceded him in death

Also preceded in death by brothers Edwin and James Schumacher

He married Lidwina Fischer October 24, 1950 at St. Rose Church and she survives in St. Rose

Also surviving are sons Mike Schumacher of St. Rose, Martin (Karen) Schumacher of St. Rose, Matt Schumacher of Aviston, Russ Schumacher of Pocahantas, Rob (Kathy) Schumacher of St. Rose, and Raph Schumacher of Pocahontas

Daughters Marian (Patrick) Netemeyer of Aviston, Rita (Rick) Ratermann of Breese, Carol (Kurt) Gajewski of Trenton

18 grandchildren

Funeral mass Monday November 24, 2003 at 2:00 PM at St. Rose Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating. Interment St. Rose Cemetery

Visitation will be held on Sunday November 23 from 4 to 9 PM and on Monday November 24 from11 am to 1:30 pm at the Moss Funeral home in Breese

Memorials can be made to St. Rose church or mater Dei high school and will be received at the funeral home
