Joanna C. Wempe 59 of Breese died Friday April 1, 2005 at St. Joseph hospital in Breese

 She was born June 5, 1945 in Breese, to John and Catherine (Haar) Scheveling. They preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by a step-brother Ralph Haar

 She married Bernard Wempe Jr. November 22, 1961 at St. Augustine Church in Breese. “Junior” survives in Breese

 Also surviving are sons John (Special friend Nena Harper) Wempe of Staunton, Duane (Theresa) Wempe of Breese, Brian Wempe of Breese

 Daughters Bernadette (Chris) Bean of Collinsville, Kathleen (Special friend Kenny Loepker) of Breese, Deb (Scott) Athmer of Albers, Holly (Special friend Damon Arter) Wempe of Aviston

 9 grandchildren Cory Bean, Katie (Levi) Nowell, Allen, Chris, Nathan and Renee Wempe, Amber Addison, Rebekah Wempe, and Kyle Athmer

 A niece Charlotte (Tom) Baker of St. Louis, MO

 A Nephew Ralph (Paula) Haar of St. Louis, MO

 Joanna was previously employed at the Dairy King in Breese  

 Member of St. Augustine Church in Breese

 Funeral Mss Tuesday April 5 at 10 am at St. Augustine Church in Breese with Fr. Chuck Tuttle officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese

Visitation will be held on Monday April 4 from 4 to 9 PM and on Tuesday April 5 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese
