Lorraine M. Aarns, nee Seiffert, 76, of Trenton died Saturday May 6, 2006 in Highland, IL 

She was born April 24, 1930 in Marydale to Bernard and Frances (Lake) Seiffert: they preceded her in death 

She married Andrew Aarns September 22, 1953 at St. Mary Church in Carlyle and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1997 

Also preceded in death by brothers, Joe and Louis Seiffert; a sister, Theresa Kniepman; brothers-in-law, Wilbert Haar, Joe Kniepman, Eugene Grapperhaus, John Liening, Robert Aarns, Tom Fields; a sister-in-law Regina Seiffert 

Surviving are sons Ron (Gail) Aarns of Creve Coeur, MO, and James Aarns of Addievelle 

Daughters Mary Beth Aarns of Trenton, Jeanne Aarns of Trenton, and Lynn (Dan) Gebke of Germantown 

5 grandchildren Christian, Stephen and Amanda Aarns, Adam and Kristin Gebke 

A brother Albert (Rosemary) Seiffert of St. Peters, MO 

Sisters Sr. M. Bertilla Seiffert of Clyde, MO, Helen Grapperhaus of Carlyle and Marie Fields of Breese 

Brothers and sisters-in-law Florence Seiffert of Carlyle, Betty Liening of Carlyle, Geraldine Haar of Breese, Judy (Bob) Heimann of Albers, Jackie (Carl) Aarns of Beckemeyer, Margaret (Scott) Gooden of Mountain Home, AR, Donna Aarns of Bourbonnais, and Pat Kniepman of St. Louis 

Lorraine was a homemaker and retired from the Carlyle Shoe Factory 

Member of St. Mary Church and Ladies Sodality in Trenton 

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday May 9, 2006 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Monday May 8 from 4 to 9 PM and on Tuesday May 9 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton

Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Research or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home
