Florence R. Albers, nee Richter, 78, of Germantown died Thursday March 8, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville 

She was born June 30, 1928 in Aviston, IL to Leo and Margaret (Heimann) Richter: they preceded her in death 

Also preceded by her Aunt Vera Schaefer who raised her and her brothers and sisters after the death of her mother.  

Also preceded in death by brothers Leo Richter Jr., Virgil Richter, brothers-in-law Frank Albers, Eugene Ripperda, Edgar Schrage, sisters-in-law Rosalie Albers, Amanda Korte, Adeline Heckenkemper, Alvina Huegen, Marie Kuhn, Josephine Meyer 

She married Charles J. Albers July 18, 1956 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston: he survives in Germantown 

Also surviving is a daughter Connie Albers and friend John Speck of St. Louis 

A son Dennis Albers and wife Sandy of Bartelso 

2 grandchildren Tiffany and Matthew Albers 

Sisters Leona Richter of New Baden, Valeria Ripperda of Belleville, Ruth Schrage of St. Rose 

Sisters-in-law Bernice Richter of Aviston, Helen Wellinghoff of Trenton 

Florence retired from Arrow Group Industries in Breese 

Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church Germantown, Germantown American Legion Auxiliary, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday March 13, 2007 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. Fr. Stephen Humphrey officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Monday March 12 from 4 to 9 PM and on Tuesday March 13 from 8 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown 

Memorials can be made to American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home
