She was born August 27, 1940 in Wade Twsp., IL to Otto and Alvina
(Jansen) Voss: they preceded her in death
Also preceded in death by brothers Richard, Wilbert and LaVerne
"Fuzzy" Voss
She married John Evans Sr. May 8, 1965 at St. Dominic Church in
Breese and he survives in Breese
Also surviving is a daughter Annette (Scott) Balsitis of Goose
Creek South Carolina
Sons John (Theresa) Evans Jr. of Bellevue Nebraska, Jason Evans
of Beckemeyer
4 grandchildren Catherine Balsitis, Daniel, George and Claire
Evans
Brothers Robert (Mary Ann) Voss of Bartelso, Raymond (Bernice)
Voss, Jerry (Pat) Voss all of Breese
A sister Kathy (Don) Lohman of Highland
Mary was retired from Scott Air Force Base as a secretary
Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday November 3, 2003 at 11:00 am
at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter
officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery
Visitation will be on Sunday November 2, 2003 from 4 to 9 PM and
on Monday November 3 from 8 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral home in
Breese
Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be
received through the funeral home
