Kathryn Ann Harpstrite, 90, of St. Louis, MO died Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Aviston Countryside Manor 

She was born on the family farm south of Trenton, on June 29, 1914, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Pletscher) Harpstrite; they preceded her in death

 Also preceded in death by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mabel (Elmer) Harpstrite Kuhn, Clara (Guy) Harpstrite Roper, and Gertrude (Davis) Harpstrite Guthrie, three brothers and sisters-in-law Richard (Emilie) Harpstrite, Harvey (Mildred) Harpstrite, and Herbert (Mae) Harpstrite, and three nephews Ermal Harpstrite, Don Davis, and Albert Hapke.

 She is survived by a brother, John Wesley Harpstrite of Boerne, TX

 Nieces and Nephews-Richard (Betty) Kuhn, Beryl Kuhn, Pat Davis, Sandy (Jerome) Kohlbrecher, Edward (Sandy) Harpstrite, Earl (Joanne) Harpstrite, Harvey Paul (Carol) Harpstrite, Martha Ann Harpstrite, Mildred Kay Hapke, James (Barb Schmitt) Harpstrite, Joyce (James) Young, Larry (Olga) Roper, Judy Ludwig, Bart Guthrie, Karen (Leslie) Doss, and Numerous Great and Great-Great Nephews and Nieces 

Kathryn was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in St. Louis

 She attended Business School in St. Louis and worked in the offices of Stix, Baer, and Fuller, and was office manager of Thomas Enterprises.  After her retirement, she was active with Grace United Methodist Church and with the Church’s Food Pantry.  She enjoyed Traveling and being the family historian. 

Visitation will be Monday, June 13, 2005 from 1 to 3 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Trenton with services following at 3 PM at the church with Rev. Debbie Melzer officiating.  Interment will be in Trenton Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Food Pantry of Grace United Methodist Church, St. Louis, MO, to the Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice, Fairview Heights, IL or to the charity of your choice and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St., Trenton, IL 62293 who is handling the arrangements.
