He was born August 23, 1938 in Little Prairie to Agnes (Lammers)
Kampwerth and the Late Lawrence Kampwerth; His mother survives in
Carlyle
He was preceded in death by 4 brothers Cyril, Leroy, Marcel and
Tom Kampwerth
Surviving is a brother Stan (Donna) Kampwerth of Bartelso
A sister Helen (Vernon) Kampwerth of Carlyle
Sisters-in-law Judy (Jerry) Korte, Judy Kampwerth and Jane
(David) Hensley all of Breese, Joan Kampwerth of O’Fallon
Numerous nieces and nephews
Turk was retired lineman for the City of Breese; he served in the
United States army from March of 1958 to March 1960
Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese, Laborer’s
International Union of North America and past volunteer of the
Breese Fire Department
Funeral Mass Saturday July 12, 2003 at 9:30 am at St. Dominic
Catholic Church with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment St.
Anthony Cemetery in Beckemeyer
Visitation will be held on Friday July 11 from 4 to 9 Pm and on
Saturday July 12 from 8 to 9:15 am at the Moss Funeral home in
Breese
Memorials can be made to St. Dominic Church or to the donor’s
choice and will be received at the funeral home
