Arthur E. “Art” Kniepmann Jr., 72, of Germantown, died Monday, March 7, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese

 He was born August 14, 1932 in Germantown to Arthur B. and Bernadine (Duepmann) Kniepmann, Sr.; they preceded him in death 

He married Delores Toennies on June 6, 1961 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Albers; she preceded him in death on July 6, 1977

 Also preceded in death by brothers Elmer Kniepmann and Robert Kniepmann 

Surviving are sons Dean (Joyce) Kniepmann of New Baden and David (Lisa) Kniepmann of Germantown 

4 Grandchildren-Brooke and Sara Kniepmann, Brandon Detmer and Heather Kniepmann

 Also surviving are brothers Raymond (Helen) Kniepmann of Orlando, FL and Alvin “Pete” (Theresa) Kniepmann of Osage Beach, MO

 Also Surviving are sisters Alice (Leo) Wilhelm of Mascoutah, and Marian (Buddy) Hemann of Highland

 Also surviving are sisters-in-law Doris Kniepmann of Dallas, TX and Estelle Kniepmann of Overland, MO

 Art retired as a meat cutter for Germantown IGA

 He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869, Concordia Saengerchor, and was a U.S. Army Veteran

 Funeral Mass will he held Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 11 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. Stephen Humphrey officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown

 Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2005 from 4 to 9 PM and again on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 from 8 to 10:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown

 Breese Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary at 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home
