Kenneth R. “Kenny” Knowles, 73 of, Summerfield died Wednesday November 14, 2007 at his residence 

He was born February 11, 1934 in Bonnie, IL to Ray and Emma (Shelton) Knowles: they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by sisters, Geneva Kelly, Betty Hoots, Wanda McBride, mother-in-law Alma Arington, brothers-in-law Brownie Kelly, Claude Hoots and Tom Arington 

He married Jane Arington July 31, 1955 in Hot Springs AR and she survives in Summerfield 

Also surviving is a son Richard (Pamela) Knowles of Mascoutah 

Daughters Madonna (Martin) Kenser of Poplar Bluff, MO, Carol (David) Pollard of Summerfield, Rev. Jeannette (Jeff) Becker of Creve Coeur, IL 

9 grandchildren Rebecca, Richard “Ryan”, Randall Knowles, Hannah (Jeff) Heck, Rachel and Bethany Kenser, Benjamin, Andrew and Daniel Pollard 

A brother Alfred (Grace) Knowles of Bonnie, IL 

Father-in-law Rev. H. Linvel (Ruth) Arington of Sanford, FL 

Brothers-in-law Harvie (Dotty) Arington of Hot Springs AR, George (Grace) Arington of Pearcey AR, Barbee (Esther) Arington of Lebanon, IN, William (Dottie) Arington of Dayton Beach FL, Rev. Terry (Kathy) Arington of  Shreve Port LA, Melvin McBride of Sycamore, IL 

Sisters in law Lucretia (Bruce) Robinson of Alton, IL, Linda Mizell of Bethalto, IL, Barbara Arington of Paragould AR. 

Dear and Special friends John Mizell, Marshall and Phyllis Field, Jayn, Jennifer and Leah Willeford 

Kenny was retired from Scott Air Force Medical Center as a medical lab technician, and as a meter reader with Clinton County Rural Electric in Breese 

Charter member of Fairview Heights Church of God, Board of Deacons, Church Trustee and Sunday school teacher 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 17, 2007 at 10:00 am at the Fairview Heights Church of God with Revs. Terry Arington, H.Linvell Arington, Terry Clayton and Brian Pope officiating. Interment Kirk Cemetery, Ina, IL 

Visitation will be held on Friday November 16 from 4 to8 pm at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton

And Saturday November 17 from 9 to 10 am at Fairview Heights Church of God 

Memorials preferred and appreciated to go to NiCE (Nicaragua Children’s Education) or Children of Promise and will be received at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton
