LeRoy W. Leonard, 75, of Germantown died Wednesday January 31, 2007 at his residence 

He was born April 10, 1931 in Albers, IL to Edward and Vera (Albers) Leonard: they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by a brother Richard Leonard and a sister Pat Beckham 

He married Helen Peters June 6, 1953 at St. Anthony Church in Beckemeyer and she survives in Germantown 

Also surviving is a son John (Vanessa) Leonard of Germantown 

Daughters Linda (Jim) Heuer of Belleville, Brenda (Dennis) Thaxton-Engelmann of Albers 

7 grandchildren Craig, Christy and Carl Heuer, Cole and Nicole Leonard, Chad (Shannon) Kues, Corey (fiancée Rishell Rakers) Kues 

2 step grandchildren Jody (Mike) Berkemeier, Tracy (Joe) Robbins 

2 great grandchildren Riley Fay Kues, Peyton Wayne Kues 

5 step great grandchildren Rachel, Luke, Lili Robbins, Jessica and Kayley Berkemeier 

A sister Alice (Ron) Cyr of Wilberham, MA 

Brother-in-law Wayne (Sherri) Beckham of Salem 

LeRoy was retired from Scott Air Force Base as a Structural Repair Aircraft mechanic, and retired Air Force Reserves 

Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown American Legion Post 325 and past drill team, associated member of the kernel nut club in Germantown, Retired Volunteer Fireman of 25 years at Germantown Fire Department, Past Germantown Alderman, Past Germantown Community Development club, co-founding committee member of the Germantown Spassfest 

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday February 3, 2007 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. Stephen Humphrey officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. Full military honors will be accorded 

Visitation will be held on Saturday February 3 from 9 am to time of Services at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown 

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Boniface Church, Heartland Hospice, Germantown American Legion, Diabetes and Kidney Foundation and will be received through Moss Funeral Home in Germantown who is handling the arrangements
