Jan A. (Hegger) Orschell, nee Bellm, 80, of Trenton, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville 

She was born December 21, 1924 in Highland to Joseph and Rose (Sudholt) Bellm; they preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lori Baker; brothers, Valentine and Clinton Bellm; sisters, Blanche Potthast and Estelle Bellm; and a sister-in-law, Lois Jean Gruenenfelder 

She married Clarence “Civ” Orschell on October 21, 1977 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton; he survives in Trenton 

Also surviving are daughters, Janice (Michael) Kohlbrecher of Carlyle, Barbara Hegger of Santa Fe, NM, Donna (Philip) Strange of Roanoke, VA, Phyllis (Jan) Donoho of Mountain Home, AK and Jacqueline (Brian) Wolk of St. Louis 

Sons, Everett Hegger of Decatur and Paul (Pam) Hegger of Columbia, SC 

Step-Sons, James (Ruth) Orschell and Thomas Orschell both of Trenton 

13 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Step-Grandchildren 

A Sister, Zitha (Edmund) Rensing of St. Louis 

Sisters-in-law, Martha Bellm and Fern Bellm both of Highland, Wilma Koerkenmeier and Virginia Johnson both of Belleville 

Jan retired from the Trenton Post Office as a rural mail carrier and was a school crossing guard 

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Trenton and the Postal Rural Carrier Union 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 10 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton 

Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2005 from 4 to 9 PM and again on Saturday, November 26, 2005 from 8 to 9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton 

Memorials can be made to the St. Mary’s Altar Sodality or to Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and will be received at the funeral home
