She married Alois Pingsterhaus April 29, 1947 at St. Boniface Church in Germantown and he preceded her in death December 6, 1970

Also preceded in death by a brother George Korte Jr., a sister Florence Linnemann, a brother-in-law Clarence "Blackie Linnemann

Surviving are daughters Carolyn (Ronald "Dickie") Winkeler of Germantown, Connie (Kenneth) Beckmann of Bartelso

10 Grandchildren Keith, Ryan, Jay and Shannon Winkeler, Traci (Gerard) Albers, Dawn (Brad) Becker, Callie (Keith) Jansen Chad, Kent and Cliff Beckmann

5 great granddaughters Morgan, Paetyn and Regan Albers, Kierra and Kaylee Winkeler

Sisters-in-law Wilhelmina Loepker of Bartelso, Sophie Pingsterhaus, Leona Eversgerd and Dolores Pingsterhaus all of Germantown, Marcella Netemeyer and Mary Ann (Robert) Haar all of St. Louis, MO

Evelyn was a retired cook from Germantown Elementary School and a homemaker

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday March 24 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Church in Germantown with Fr. Stephen Humphery officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery

Visitation will be held on Sunday march 23 from 4 to 9 PM and on Monday March 24 from 8 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown
