Mary Ann S. Rolfingsmeyer, nee Jansen, 75, of Breese died Saturday March 21, 2009 at Carlyle Health Care Center in Carlyle 

She was born November 5, 1933 in Breese to Aloys and Catherine (Wobbe) Jansen: they preceded her in death 

She married Lavern J. Rolfingsmeyer March 5, 1957 at St. Augustine Church in Breese and he preceded her in death January 15, 2009 

Also preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph Rolfingsmeyer, step-mother, Emma (Schmienk) Jansen, brothers-in-law Eugene, Wilbert, Kenneth, and Delbert Rolfingsmeyer and Vincent Wieter, sisters-in-law Dolores Wieter, June Peppenhorst, and Rita Walter 

Surviving are her children Geri (David) Smith of Aviston, Janet (Max) Uhls of Highland, Julie (Dale) Haake of Germantown, and Gerard (Tammy) Rolfingsmeyer of Breese 

12 grandchildren Jennifer, David, and Kyle Smith, Joey (fiancée Kat), Josh (friend Vanessa), and Jordan Uhls, Eric, Jessica (friend Michael), and Bradley Haake, Christy Rolfingsmeyer, Nathan and Zachary Graham 

A sister Rosie Jansen of Breese, and brothers Aloys (Shirley) Jansen of Granite City, Ralph (Barbara) Jansen of St. Louis, MO, Francis “Sez” (Caroline) Jansen of Breese, Jim (Bernadette) Jansen of Trenton, Pete (Jane) Jansen of Breese, and Ron (Brenda) Jansen of Highland 

Brothers-in-law, Joe Peppenhorst of Beckemeyer, Melvin (Em) Walter of Highland 

Sisters-in-law, Vernell Rolfingsmeyer of Breese, Lorena Rolfingsmeyer of Breese 

Mary Ann retired from Mater Dei High School as a secretary 

Member of St. Dominic Church and served as a Eucharistic minister and St. Dominic Altar Sodality 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on March 24, 2009 from 8:00-10:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to Mater Dei High School or St. Dominic Church and will be received at the funeral home.
