Paul B. Spihlman, 70, of Trenton, died Friday, September 29, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

Mr. Spihlman was born March 7, 1936 in Breese to Sylvester and Catherine (Albers) Spihlman; they preceded him in death. 

He married Patricia Richter on July 4, 1960 in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese; she survives in Trenton. 

Also surviving are 4 children, Cheryl (Todd) Whitaker of Trenton, Steven (Kathy) Spihlman of Trenton, Diane (Dean) Mitts of Swansea, and Michael (Patty) Spihlman of Oswego. 

8 Grandchildren-Cory (Leah) Whitaker, Kelsey Whitaker, Andrea Spihlman, Joseph Spihlman, Alison Mitts, Rachel Mitts, Abigail Spihlman, and Julia Spihlman. 

A brother, James (Shirley) Spihlman of Trenton, and sisters Florence Drees of Breese and Bernida (Ed) Rodgers of Garvin, OK. 

Paul worked as a carpenter for Hunter Meat Packing for 21 years and was a custodian and bus driver for Wesclin High School for 18 years.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and showed his love for Wesclin Sports by being the Score Keeper at all events for 35 years.  

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton, Trenton Nut House Club, Wesclin Athletic Boosters, and was the 2006 Wesclin Alumni of the year.  

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton. 

Visitation will be Monday, October 2, 2006 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 from 8:00-9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Church or to the Wesclin Booster Club and will be received at the funeral home.
