Arthur P. Trippel, 72, of Highland, formerly of Trenton died Wednesday March 29 2006 in St. Joseph Hospital Highland.  He was born October 25, 1933 in Trenton to Arthur J. and Esther (Seibert) Trippel.  They preceded him in death. 

Art was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Trenton, and a 43 year member of the Trenton Masonic lodge #109.  He graduated form Trenton Community High School, received an associate of business degree from SIU Carbondale and a bachelors of Arts Degree from McKendree College.  He also attended Eden Seminary. 

He loved music and was an avid Cubs fan.  His love of baseball led him to serve for many years as score keeper for the Trenton Clinton County Baseball Team.  He also served as the Clinton County Baseball League secretary-treasurer. 

Besides his parents, Art was preceded in death by 2 nieces, Sherry and Terry Sebring, 1 nephew Kenneth Sebring and a brother in law Donald Klein. 

Art is survived by 3 sisters Lois Klein of Trenton, Carol Sebring of Englewood, Ohio and Donna (Dale) Torrence of Springboro Ohio.  Also surviving are nieces Janet (Vince) Butler, Kathy Limkeman, Nancy Sebring, Dawn Collins and nephews Kurt Klein, Craig (Coleen) Klein, John Sebring and Darren (Cindy) Torrence, many cousins and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 1 2006 at 11 AM at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Trenton with Rev. Mark Buck officiating.  Interment will be in Trenton Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Church from 9:30 until the time of services.  Memorial can be made to St. John Church, Trenton Masonic Lodge or Trenton Clinton County League Baseball team and will be received by Moss Funeral Home of Trenton who is in charge of the services.
