Norbert J. “Bud” Huelsmann 81 of Breese died Saturday October 10, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese 

He was born January 20, 1928 in New Baden to Henry and Catherine (Henken) Huelsmann: thye preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by a brother Wilfred “Boob” Huelsmann, brothers-in-law Paul Strubhart, Wilburt Hess, Alfred “Dregen” Schrage, sisters-in-law Helen Johnson, Agnes Tripple 

He married Bernadine Richter May 12, 1955 at St. Dominic Church in Breese and she survives in Breese 

Also Survivng are his children Janet Huelsmann of Breese, Ron “Rat” (Margie) Huelsmann of Trenton, Ed (Nancy) Huelsmann of Breese, Norma (John) Knebel of Beckemeyer, Steve Huelsmann of Breese, Linda (Louis) Holthaus of Beckemeyer, Gerald “Pee Wee” (Nancy) Huelsmann of Breese, Laurie (Matt) Brandmeyer of Bartelso 

11 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren 

Brothers Francis (Florence) Huelsmann of Highland, Dave (Peggy) Huelsmann of Trenton, Floyd (Dorothy) Huelsmann of Trenton 

Sisters Marcella Strubhart of Aviston, Estelle Hess of Highland, Rita (Joe) Musenbrock of Scottsdale AZ, Alice Schrage of Breese 

Sisters-in-law Geraldine Huelsmann of Germantown, Martha (Paul) Tebbe of Staunton, Ann Ahrens of Yorkville 

Bud retired from Alton Box Board (Smurfit-Stone) in Highland, and from farming. He was an avid fisherman and an Army Veteran 

Member of St. Dominic Church in Breese, American Legion Post 252 in Breese, Knights of Columbus Council # 2869 in Breese  

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday October 13 at 10:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery 

Visitation will be Monday October 12 from 4 to 9 PM and Tuesday October 13 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to Community Link or St. Joseph Hospital and will be received at the funeral Home
