Florence E. “Flossie” Ranz 96 of Trenton died Tuesday January 5, 2010 at her residence. 

She was born February 25, 1913 in Osco, IL to Anson and Margaret (Hendrix) Nash: they preceded her in death. 

She married Elmer Ranz September 7, 1937 in Cambridge, IL and he preceded her in death May 5, 1980. 

Also preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Nash; a sister, Wilna Doelar; and a brother-in-law, Martin Doelar. 

Surviving is a son Dr. Allan Ranz D.D.S. of Trenton; a grandson, John Ranz of Chicago; a brother, Richard (Dorothy) Nash of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Susan (Dick) Bolmgren of Lincoln, NE; a sister-in-law, Bernice Build of Chicago; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Flossie was a homemaker and retired nurse from St. Joseph Hospital in Breese and Highland and hospitals in Chicago. 

She was a member of Grace Community Baptist Church and Missionary Society, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary, and the Trenton Woman’s club past president 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 9, 2010 at 10:30 am at Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton, with Rev. Val Prest officiating. Interment Trenton Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8 from 4 to 8 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to Grace Community Baptist Church and will be received at the funeral home
