    Bernita R. Kohrmann, nee Michels, age 88 of Germantown, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Countryside Manor in Aviston.

    Mrs. Kohrmann was born September 22, 1926 in Germantown, a daughter of Alphonse and Elizabeth, nee Altepeter, Michels; they preceded her in death.

    In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Victor Kohrmann, whom she married July 22, 1950 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, and died August 30, 2001; a brother, Romuald Michels; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bernice Michels, Virgil Kohrmann, Rosie Kohrmann, Steve Kohnen, Louis and Betty Kohrmann, Fritz and Elsie Kohrmann, Rich Kohrmann, and Elmer Kohrmann.

    Surviving are her daughters, Mary Sue Langenhorst and husband Joe, Candy Linnemann and husband Gary "Yogi", and Vicky Kohnen and husband Dale all of Germantown; grandchildren, Rachel Varel and husband Dave, Stacy Johnson and husband Darin, Kurt Linnemann and wife Terea, Eric Kohnen and wife Jessica, and Bradley Kohnen and wife Melissa; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Oliver Varel, Tyson Johnson, Taylor Linnemann, Natalie and Benjamin Kohnen, Lexie and Brinley Kohnen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margie Kohnen of Carlyle, Joe "Fireball" Kohrmann of Germantown, Bobby Kohrmann and wife Blanche of Bartelso, Ralph Kohrmann and wife Janice of Bartelso, Marcella Kohnen of Germantown, and Elsie Michels of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Bernita retired as a Personnel Officer at Murray Center in Centralia and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her grandchildren.

    Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.

    Visitation will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.

    Memorials can be made to the Clinton County Humane Society and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home who is in charge of the arrangements.
