    Bill J.” Moose” Dumstorff Jr. 76 of Trenton died Friday October 14, 2016 at his residence.

    He was born April 21, 1940 in Beaver Prairie to William Sr. and Catherine (Koopmann) Dumstorff, they preceded him in death.

    He married Mary Louise “Missie” Haas June 6, 1961 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Trenton and she preceded him in death March 9, 2003.

    Also preceded in death by a sister Kathy “Puddles” Meyer, father-in-law and mother-in-law Frank and Angie (Berkemann) Haas, brother-in-law Dennis Haas.

    Surviving are his children Josie (Bill) Elliott of Highland, Brian Dumstorff of Trenton.

    3 grandchildren Ashley (Trey) Wilson, Kristee Elliott, Jacob Dumstorff.

    A great grandson George Wilson IV.

    Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jim Meyer of Carlyle, Kathleen (Victor) Diepholz of Troy, Fran (Leo) Demkey of Heyworth, Jim (Shirley) Haas of Trenton.

    Moose retired from Ford Motor Co. He loved spending all his time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking.

    Funeral mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Trenton. Fr. Gene Neff presiding. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton.

    Visitation will be held on Monday October 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday October 18 from 8:00 to 9:30 am at Moss Funeral home in Trenton.

    Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home.
