    Charles H. Wallace, age 92 of Trenton, born November 26, 1922 in Quincy, MA, a son of John and Beatrice, nee Anderson, Wallace, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at his residence.

    Mr. Wallace was a graduate of the Derby Academy in Hangham, MA and the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. Charles was employed for several years by the Army Corps of Engineers on projects in several states and later by the Automated Logistics Management Services Agency in St. Louis, MO. He had served in the U.S. Navy, and during WWII served in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne Unit in Europe, including the Battle of the Bulge.
    He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton, the Trenton American Legion Post 778, and the Paul Revere Lodge AF & AM in Brockton, MA.

    He is survived by his wife Doreen, nee Olliff, Wallace, whom he married July 11, 1953 in Easton, MA; his children, Richard Wallace and wife Maria Sanchez of San Antonio, TX, Scott Wallace of Edwardsville, Steven Wallace and wife Brenda of Trenton, and Sue Wallace of St. Louis; and 4 grandchildren, Ricardo and Stephanie Sanchez, Brittany and Stephanie Wallace.

    Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister and her husband, Clara and Bill Burt.

    A Memorial Service will be on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton with Rev. Mark Stryjak officiating. Inurnment will take place at 1:00 p.m. in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.

    Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. till the time of services at the church.

    Memorials can be made to St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton and will be received through Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main, Trenton, IL 62293 who is in charge of the arrangements.
