      Corey S. Lawrence, age 54, of Breese, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO.

       

      Mr. Lawrence was born December 4, 1963, a son of Michael and Jacqulyn, nee Stoner, Lawrence. He married Colleen Laughlin October 17, 1992 in Indianapolis, IN.

       

      In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Lawrence is survived by his children, Parker (Madison Thole) Lawrence and Mikaleen Lawrence, both of Breese; siblings, his twin Carrie (David) Dietze of Jupiter, FL, Tracey (Vince) Van Nevel of Louisville, KY, and Todd (Ellie) Lawrence of Springfield, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Suzann Laughlin of Elkhart, IN; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jill Laughlin of Houston, TX, Chris (Colleen) Laughlin of Indianapolis, IN, Kathleen (Kyle) Moreillon of Indianapolis, IN, Maureen (Mike) Campbell of Hilton Head, SC, and Kevin (Melissa) Laughlin of Elkhart, IN; beloved dog, Jamison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

       

      He was preceded in death by his grandmother Henrietta “G.G.” Drake and brother-in-law Tim Laughlin.

       

      Mr. Lawrence was the owner of Jostens in Highland, IL and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, golfing, the outdoors, and cheering for the Indiana Hoosiers basketball team. Always one to live life to the fullest, he enjoyed using his wonderful sense of humor to make others smile. His nieces and nephews often referred to him as “fun Uncle Corey.” He lived by one of his favorite sayings, “What’s it all about? Time management.”

       

      Memorial Mass will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Charles Tuttle presiding.

       

      Per the family’s request, in lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Evelyn’s House either directly (1000 North Mason Road, Creve Coeur, MO, 63141 or www.bjchospice.org/evelyns-house), at church, or through Moss Funeral Home, who is serving the family.
