    Edwin H. Weier 90 of Germantown died Monday, July 4, 2016 in Breese.

    He was born April 14, 1926 in Germantown to Fred “Fritz” and Eleanor (Schleper) Weier: they preceded him in death.

    He married Grace Deerhake September 22, 1955 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown and she preceded him in death June 5, 2014.

    Also preceded in death by brothers Clarence, Alfred. Wilbert and Fred Jr. Weier, sisters Alice and Helen Weier, son-in-law Dale Peters, brother-in-law George Brauer.

    Surviving are his children Susan Peters of Trenton, Linda (Jim) Woosley of Flower Mound, TX, Steve (Jean) Weier of Belleville, Donald Weier of Wisconsin, Michael (Maureen) Weier of Greenwood, IN

    Daughter-in-law Kathy Weier of Muskego, WI

    20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

    Sisters Margaret (Joe) Rademacher of O’Fallon, Delores Brauer of Germantown, Marie (Hank) Wesselmann of Germantown.

    Edwin worked Civil Service at S.A.F.B. as an electrician. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, traveling and being a “Snowbird” in Texas, and he was an all-around got to Mr. Fix it man.

    Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown. American Legion Post 325 and past commander.

    Funeral mass of Christian burial will be Saturday July 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. Fr James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby presiding. Interment with military honors will be at St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.

    Visitation will be Friday July 8 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday July 9, from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

    Memorials can be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church or St. Boniface Cemetery and will be received at the funeral home.

    Members of the American Legion will hold services at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home
