    Grace Weier, nee Deerhake, 82, of Germantown, died Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Legacy Place in Highland.

    Mrs. Weier was born February 8, 1932 in Germantown to Henry and Mary Helen (Leonard) Deerhake; they preceded her in death.

    In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Alice Grayling; brothers, Alfred Deerhake in childhood, Vincent Deerhake, and Conrad “Coonie” Deerhake; sisters-in-law, Maude Deerhake, Alice Weier, and Helen Weier in childhood; and brothers-in-law, Wilbert Weier and Fred Weier, Jr. both in childhood, Roy Grayling, Clarence Weier, Alfred Weier, and George Brauer.

    She married Edwin Weier on September 22, 1955 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown; he survives at Legacy Place in Highland.

    In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children, Susan (Dale) Peters of Trenton, Linda (Jim) Woosley of Flower Mound, TX, Steven (Jean) Weier of Belleville, Donald (Kathleen) Weier of Muskego, WI, and Michael (Maureen) Weier of Greenwood, IN; 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dodie Deerhake of Beckemeyer, Margaret (Joe) Rademacher of O’Fallon, Dolores Brauer of Germantown, and Marie (Hank) Wesselmann of Germantown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Grace retired from productions at Southern Farms Country Eggs in Germantown and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality, and the Germantown American Legion Post 325 Auxiliary. She enjoyed riding her bike, walking, quilting, and traveling.

    Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.

    Visitation will be Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 pm and again on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 8:00-9:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

    Memorials can be made to Clinton County Relay for Life or St. Boniface Catholic Church and will be received at the funeral home.
