John S. Delano, age 67, formerly of Breese, died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at SSM DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born August 11, 1951 in E. St. Louis, the son of the late Charles and Marie, nee Rueter, Delano.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Bertha Delano.
Surviving are his daughter, Wendy (Robert) Corrie of Odin; grandsons, Cameron and Dylan Corrie; great-grandson, Tristin Corrie; brothers, Charlie (Betty) Delano of St. Pete Beach, FL and Richard (Julene) Delano of Murray, KY; and his former wife, Debra, nee Gerner, Delano of Germantown.
John formerly worked at Community Link in Breese and was a former member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese.
Funeral Service will be Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Visitation will be Friday, July 26, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese. Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville.
Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family and will be received at the funeral home.
