    Lida Lee Berberich, age 79, of Trenton, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Cedar Ridge Health and Rehab Center in Lebanon.

     

    She was born September 23, 1939 in Highland, a daughter of the late Oscar and Amelia, nee Poos, Wolf.

     

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Anita Sutherland and her husband George, Vernon Wolf and his wife Iona, and Shirleen Kimber and her husband Tom; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Matthew and Estella, nee Koebel, Berberich; and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby Berberich and his wife Rosemary, and Donald Berberich.

     

    Surviving are her husband Marvin F. Berberich of Trenton, whom she married October 24, 1964 at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton; sons, Ron (Darlene) Berberich of Trenton and Scott (Rebecca) Berberich of Troy; grandchildren, Brian and Philip Berberich, and Alyssa and Clayton Berberich; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pearl Berberich, David Berberich and his wife Donna, Allen Berberich and his wife Arlene all of Lebanon, and Pam Berberich of New Baden; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     

    Lida retired in 2008 as the head cook at the Western Clinton County Senior Center in Trenton. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton and enjoyed painting, camping, tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, riding horses, baking and cooking, but most of all spending time with her family.

     

    Funeral Service will be Monday, July 1, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Christy Eckert officiating. Interment will follow in Trenton Cemetery.

     

    Visitation will be Monday, July 1, 2019 from 9:00-10:15 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

     

    Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton or the Alzheimer’s Association and will be received at the funeral home.
