    Rudy J. Richter, age 90 of Breese, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Breese Nursing Home.

    Mr. Richter was born February 7, 1925 in Breese to Bernard and Anna, nee Zurliene, Richter; they preceded him in death.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Loretta Ahner, Josephine Dierkes, Hildegard Richter, Henrietta Hilmes, Virginia Mattingly; and brothers, Emil Richter, Al Richter, James Richter, and Vince Richter.

    Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

    Rudy retired as an Equipment Operator for the Clinton County Highway Department and was a Veteran of the United States Army.

    He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Past Commander of the Breese American Post 252, and the Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869.

    Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Chuck Tuttle and Deacon Bob Lippert officiating. Interment will follow in St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese.

    Visitation will be Monday, February 23, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 8:00-9:30 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

    Memorials can be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church and will be received at the funeral home.

    The Breese American Legion will hold services at 7:00 p.m. followed by the Breese Knights of Columbus on Monday evening at the funeral home.
