Dorsetta Atkinson 78 of Trenton died Tuesday June 27, 2006 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis

She was born August 15, 1927 in St. Louis to Charles Sylvester and Catherine (Tobin) Hogen: they preceded her in death

She married Thomas F. Atkinson Sr.  June 10, 1945 at Bowman Methodist Church in St. Louis and he survives in Trenton

Also surviving is a son Thomas (Cindy) Atkinson Jr. of St. Peters, MO 

Daughters Pamela (Greg) Smith of Colorado Springs, CO, Deborah (George) Hill of Mt View CA, Patricia Lupiani of St. Petersburg Fl, Melissa (Michael) Boehmer of Fenton, MO

11 grandchildren Heather (Brandon) Morrison, Greg (Christine) Smith Jr., Rebecca Hill, Jonathan (Jennifer) Hill, Katherine Hill, Daniel Hill, Robert (Shannan) Lupiani, James Lupiani, Tracy , Tommy, Leslie Atkinson

3 great grandchildren Kendall and Aiden Morrison, Cheyann Lupiani 

A sister Margaret (James) Conaway of O’Fallon, MO

Special friends and neighbors

Dorsetta was retired after 30 years in the fine Jewelry Department of JC Penny at St. Clair Square

She was a former member of the Normandy United Methodist Church in Normandy MO 

Funeral service will be held on Monday July 3, 2006 at 11:00 am at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Debbie Melzer officiating Interment at 2:30 Pm at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis MO 

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 2 from 4 to 8 PM and on Monday July 3 from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received through the funeral home
