Alvin H. “Al” Bach 81 of Germantown
died Thursday November 18, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese
He was born March 3, 1923 in
Bartelso to Peter and Josephine (Boeckmann) Bach; they preceded him
in death
Also preceded in death by a
son-in-law Kenneth Rakers, brothers Cyril, Henry, Emil, Leo and
Louis Bach, sisters Hilda Roberg, Rosalie Rippiani, Marcella Huene
and Linda Bach,
He married Dolores “Dolly” Haar June
2, 1951 in Rapid City South Dakota; she
survives in Germantown
Also surviving are two sons Don
(Cindy) Bach of Damiansville and David Bach of Germantown
Two daughters Dot (Rich) Eversman of
Shiloh, Kathy (Jim) Tutka of Huntsville, AL,
5 grandchildren Phillip Rakers of
Trenton, Gina (Special Friend Mike Atwood) of Indianapolis IN,
Michael Eversman of Shiloh, Tommy Bach and Trisha Bach both of
Damiansville
Brothers Paul (Irma) Bach and Greg
Bach all of Carlyle
Sisters Mary Ely of Orlando FL, Nellie (Charlie) Deitz of
Bartelso
Brothers-in-law Robert (Mary Ann)
Haar of St. Louis, MO, Leo (Mary) Haar of Desoto, MO, Theodore
(Mary) Haar of Breese, Ray Rippiani of St. Louis

Al retired from Ford Motor Co. and
Germantown Twp. Road maintenance. He was a veteran of the Air Force
Member of St Boniface Church,
Germantown, Germantown American Legion Post 325 for 50 years, past
president and honorary member of the Germantown Kernel Nut club,
United Auto Workers Local 325 and a volunteer with Meals on Wheels
Funeral Mass will be Monday November
22, 2004 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Church with Fr. Stephen
Humphrey officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Sunday
Nov. 21 from 4 to 9 PM and on Monday Nov. 22 from 8 to 10:45 am
at the Moss Funeral Home in
Germantown
Germantown American Legion will hold
services on Sunday at 7 PM at the funeral home
Memorials can be made to donor’s
choice and will be received at the funeral home
