Lloyd C. “Dick” Bain, 85, of Highland, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Highland

He was born January 26, 1923 in Green County, IL, to Augustus and Cora (Roberts) Bain; they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by brothers Louis, Everett, Carl and Harold Bain, sisters Edna Haney and Edith Nicholson

He married Iris Fox January 20, 1952 in Piggott Arkansas she survives in Highland

Also Surviving is a son Dru (LeeEm) Bain of Belleville

Daughters Dixie (Jerry) Thurman of Pottsboro TX, Patricia McEwen of O’Fallon, MO

7 grandchildren Andrea (Aaron) Vogel, Rebecca Thurman, Justinn and Ehrinn McEwen, Emily, Troy and Elizabeth Brown

2 great-granddaughters, Kynleigh Vogel and Alexandria Thurman Boswell

A sister Eileen Steelman of Glasgow, IL

Dick was retired tree trimmer with Illinois Power

Member of West Gate Baptist Church in Trenton, I.B.E.W. Union 309 Collinsville for over 30 years 

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 11, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Mike May officiating. Interment Saturday April 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Pine Tree Cemetery in Whitehall, IL

Visitation will be held on Friday April 11, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home
