Mike C. Bedard 53 of Breese died Saturday August 12, 2006 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO 

He was born September 12, 1952 in Breese to Mary Ellen (Lager) Bedard and the late Charles Bedard: his mother survives in Breese 

He married Mary Kay Holtkamp July 14, 1973 at St. Francis Church in Aviston and she survives in Breese 

Also surviving are his four children Jessica (Scott) Jackson of Breese, Stacie (Special friend Jason Selle) of Breese, Nathan Bedard (Special friend Danielle Mueller) of Germantown, Christopher Bedard of Breese 

2 grandchildren Bryson and Ethan Jackson 

Brothers Larry (Betty) Bedard of Aviston, Don (Beth) Bedard of Breese 

Sisters Connie Ebert of Breese, Kathy (Mike) Zurliene of Albers, Linda (Rick) Book of Breese 

Brother-in-Law Ron (Lynn) Holtkamp of Highland 

Sisters-in-law Judi (Roger) Vaughn of Petersburg, Connie Holtkamp of Highland, Sue (Rich) Ayers of Aviston, Jean (Tom) Deiters of Breese, Marcia (Ed) Nowicki of Haddonfield, NJ

Numerous Nephews and Nieces 

Preceded in death by his father Charles Bedard, his father and mother-in-law Robert and Dorothy (Strieker) Holtkamp 

Mike was the owner and operator of Bedard’s Automotive in Breese. He was an avid Hunter and fisherman 

Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese, Sons of the American Legion Post 252-Breese, Breese Optimist Club, Retired Volunteer of the Breese Fire Department and past assistant chief. Manager of the Breese Jr. American Legion baseball team and was the Schedule manager of the Breese Baseball diamonds 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday August 16 at 10 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 15 from 4 to 9 PM and on Wednesday August 15 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Sons of the American Legion will hold services at 7:00 Pm and Breese Fire Department Services at 7:30 Pm on Tuesday August 15 at the funeral home 

Memorials can be made to the Donor’s Choice and will be received through the funeral home
