Schomaker) 72 of Trenton died Sunday July 22, 2007 at her residence
She was born October 22, 1934 in
Damiansville to Herman and Mary Margaret (Overberg) Schomaker: they
preceded her in death.
She married Bernard Berkemann
October 29, 1947 at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden and he
preceded her in death April 14, 1993

Alice was a homemaker and an
active card player and belonged to many card clubs.
Member of St. Mary Catholic
Church and Altar Sodality in Trenton. She was chair person of the
semi annual rummage sale for many years at St. Mary’s Church and a
Trenton election judge.
Funeral mass of Christian burial
will be held on Wednesday July 25, 2007 at 10:00 am at St. Mary
Catholic Church with Fr. James Dougherty officiating. Interment St.
Mary Cemetery
Visitation will be held on
Tuesday July 24 from 4 to 9 Pm and on Wednesday July 25 from 8 to
9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton
Memorials can be made to St.
Mary Altar Sodality or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be
received at the funeral home |
