Darrell B. "Bill" Boggy 68 of Summerfield
died Monday March 29, 2004 at his residence
He was born October 29, 1935 in St. Clair County to Earl W. and
Maude (Butler) Boggy; they preceded him in death
Also preceded in death by his first Wife Margie Diaber, and
brother Bernell Boggy
He married June Walker March 12, 1976 in Pocahontas and she
survives in Summerfield
Also surviving is a son Steve Boggy of Deland, IL
Daughter Karen (Larry) Lankheit of Nashville, IL

Bill was retired from farming and B-Line Leasing Co. in St. Louis
where he was a truck driver
He enjoyed his Pontoon boat and camping and was an avid gardener
Member of Teamsters local 600 of St. Louis, past member of the
Summerfield volunteer fire Dept. for 35 years and served as fire
chief for two terms
Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 2, 2004 at 11:00 am
at The Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Gary Kniepkamp
officiating. Interment Summerfield Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Thursday April 1 from 4 to 9 PM and on
Friday April 2 from 8 am to time of services at the Moss Funeral
home in Trenton
Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois,
Summerfield Fire Department and will be received at the funeral home
