Thursday July 24, 2003 at St. Joseph hospital in Breese
He was born November 13, 1924 in Darien Connecticut to Peter and
Rosalia (Neshimka) Choma and the preceded him in death
Also preceded in death by brothers Andrew and Russell Choma,
Brothers-in-law Lester, Chester, Homer and Herbert Dothager,
sisters-in-law Madeline Choma, Irene Choma and Marilyn Dothager
He married Elaine Dothager February 26, 1949 in Springfield, IL
and she survives in Trenton
Also surviving is a sister Genevieve (Harold) Wahnowsky of
Stanford Connecticut
Brothers-in-law Wilbert (Jaynece) Dothager of Mulberry Grove,
Otis (Imogene) Dothager of St. Elmo, Robert (Myrtle Mae) Dothager of
Vandalia, August Dothager of Mulberry Grove
Sisters-in-law Erma (Marvin) Freemann of Mulberry Grove, Evelyn
(Norman) Lawler of Mulberry Grove, Marie Dothager of Greenville,
Maxine Dothager of Vandalia, Evelyn Dothager of Brighton Michigan
Pete was retired from the U.S. Army and Air Force
Member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton, Trenton VFW post
7983, Aviston American Legion Post 1239, D.A.V. chapter 100 Trenton,
American Ex-prisoners of War, Okaw Chapter of Ex-prisoners of War
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday July 28, 2003 at 10:00m am at
St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty
officiating. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St.
Louis, MO
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 27 from 4 to 8 PM and on
Monday July 28 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton
Trenton VFW and Aviston American Legion will hold services on
Sunday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home
Memorials can be made to the Highland Animal Shelter or St. Mary
Church and will be received at the funeral home
