Alvina M. Feldmann, 81, of Breese died Saturday,
March 8, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville
She was born August 28, 1921 in Germantown to Leo and Elizabeth
(Pollmann) Kreke; they preceded her in death
She married Emil Feldmann on May 1, 1946 at St. Boniface Catholic
Church in Germantown; he preceded her in death November 10, 1968
Also preceded in death by a son Bob Feldmann
Brothers Clarence and Alfred Kreke
Surviving are daughters Norma (Charlie) Voss, Nancy (Dennis)
Jannett, and Carol (Fiancee Mark S. Winkeler) Kahre all of Carlyle
A Daughter-in-law Susan Feldmann of Aviston
12 Grandchildren & 14 Great-Grandchildren
Brother-in-law Stan (Rita) Feldmann of Damiansville
Sisters-in-law Cecilia Kreke of Carlyle and Ruth Kreke of Iuka
Alvina and her husband Emil owned and operated South Side Tavern
in Breese for 20 years
She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and Breese
American Legion Post 252 Auxiliary
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 11 AM at St.
Dominic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating.
Interment will be in St. Dominic~St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11, 2003 from 5 to 8 PM and
again on Wednesday, March 12, 2003 from 8 to 10:45 AM at the Moss
Funeral Home in Breese
The Breese American Legion Auxiliary will hold services Tuesday
evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home
Memorials can be made to Southern Illinois Hospice and will be
received at the funeral home
