            Nathan D. Gebke, 22, of Centralia, 
            and formerly of Carlyle, died Monday, December 8, 2008 at St. 
            Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.  
            Mr. Gebke was born January 5, 1986 
            in Breese, IL to Paula Gebke and Thomas C. Isaak; his mother 
            survives in Centralia and his father survives in Covington,
            TN.  
            Also surviving is a brother Thomas 
            Isaak, Jr. and sisters, Rachel Marie Isaak and Mary Elizabeth Isaak 
            all of Gates, TN.

            Hilmes of Carlyle; Maternal Grandfather, Alvin J. (Rosann) Gebke of 
            Breese; Paternal Grandfather, James Isaak of Carlyle and Paternal 
            Grandmother, Helen “Kay” Thovenin of Sandoval.

            Carlyle, Geri (Dean) Caldwell of Colorado, Carolyn Gebke of Breese,

            He was preceded in death by a 
            sister, Rebecca Isaak; a grandfather, John Hilmes; and a 
            grandmother, Dorothy Isaak.  
            Nathan was a 2005 graduate of Metro 
            Christian Academy in Sorento.  In the past, he worked at Jim’s 
            Formal Wear and Salem 
            Business Center.  He was involved 
            with many odd jobs, especially installing stereo systems.  
            Member of St. Mary Church in Carlyle 
            and the Peculiar People a Christian Youth Group organized by the 
            Keith and Lori Sheets family.  
            Funeral Mass of Christian Burial 
            will be Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM 
            at St. Mary Catholic Church in Carlyle with Fr. George Mauck 
            officiating.  Interment will follow in 
            Carlyle Cemetery.  
            Visitation will be Friday, December 
            12, 2008 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Saturday, December 13, 2008 
            from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Moss 
            Funeral Home in Breese.  
            Memorials can be made to the family 
            and will be received at the funeral home.  |
