Wayne R. Goble, 91, of Trenton died Tuesday, June 3,
2003 at Countryside Manor in Aviston, IL
He was born June 21, 1911 in Westfield, IL to Wilbur and Carrie
(Davis) Goble; they preceded him in death
Also preceded in death by brothers Cecil, Chester, and Ralph
Goble
He married Marjorie Titus on December 9, 1939 in Charleston, IL;
she survives in Trenton
Also surviving is a daughter Jacquelyn Schneider of Highland, IL
and a son Gary (Bodil) Goble of South Elgin, IL
4 Grandchildren Danielle (Marc) Falk of Elgin, IL, Erin (Keith)
Mierzwa of Chicago, IL, Jeff Goble of Elgin, IL, and Christine Goble
of South Elgin, IL
A Brother Warren Goble of Charleston, IL
Wayne Retired as the Vice-President of McKnight Chemical in St.
Louis
He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton,
50 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Trenton, 50 year member of
the Eastern Star, and the Past-President and Board Member of Trenton
Senior Citizens
Funeral Service will be Friday, June 6, 2003 at 10:30 AM at St.
John United Church of Christ in Trenton with Rev. Thomas Perl
officiating. Interment in Trenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, 2003 from 5 to 8 PM and
again on Friday, June 6, 2003 from 8 to 10:15 AM at the Moss Funeral
Home in Trenton.
Memorials can be made to St. John United Church of Christ in
Trenton and will be received at the funeral home
