Jerome L. Haar, 56, of Trenton, died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese 

He was born May 4, 1948 in Breese to the late William Haar and Johanna (Becker) Haar; his mother survives in Breese

 He married Carrol Mehring on June 27, 1980 in O’Fallon, IL 

Surviving is a son Kevin (Jessica) Haar of Dupo, and daughters Melissa Haar of Columbia and Dallas Haar of Trenton

 2 Grandchildren-Cheyenne Haar and Holly Medford 

Brothers-Richard (Diana) Haar of Belleville, Michael Haar of Troy, Steven (Cheryl) Haar of Aviston, and William Haar of Centralia

 A Sister-Madonna Haar of Breese

 Jerome worked for the United States Government as a store worker in the Commissary, and was also employed as a caretaker at the Royal Living Care Center in New Baden

 He was an Air Force Veteran

 Funeral Service will be Monday, February 21, 2005 at 10 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty officiating.  Interment will follow at Trenton Cemetery 

Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2005 from 6 to 9 PM and again on Monday, February 21, 2005 from 8 to 10 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

 Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home
