John J. Haas, 82, of Trenton, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese. 

He was born December 14, 1925 in Trenton to Frank and Mary (Baer) Haas; they preceded him in death. 

Also preceded in death by brothers, Frank, Arthur, and William Haas and sisters, Margaret Woher, Flordina Kern, and Virginia Haas. 

Surviving is a sister, Loretta (Dick) Holubek of Trenton and a sister-in-law, Marie Haas of Caseyville. 

John retired as a Laborer and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Gene Kreher officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton. 

Visitation will be Friday, November 28, 2008 from 9:00-10:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made in the form of Masses or to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
