Richard L. Haas 77 of Trenton died Thursday August 21, 2003 at St.
Joseph Hospital in Highland.
He was born November 15, 1925 in Trenton to Jacob and Josephine (Bellm)
Haas; they preceded him in death
Also preceded in death by daughters-in-law Brenda Haas and Bonnie
Haas
He married Mary Weisenfeld November 24, 1949 at St. Mary Church
in Trenton and she survives in Trenton
Also surviving are sons Kenneth Haas, Kevin Haas and Lawrence
(Rose) Haas all of Trenton
Daughters Sr. Kathryn Haas PHJC of East Chicago, IN and Peggy
(Brian) Boeser of Trenton
10 grandchildren Todd, Lora, Cheryl, Dustin, Zachary, Nathan,
Bethany and James Haas, Jacob Hagelstein, Christopher Boeser
Brothers Joseph Haas and Cletus Haas both of Trenton
Sister Lorna (Paul) Jacober of Collinsville
Richard was retired from farming
Member of St. Mary Catholic church in Trenton, Clinton County
Rural Electric Board member, Community Bank of Trenton board member
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 25 at 10:00 am at St.
Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Don Blaes officiating.
Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton
Visitation will be held on Sunday August 24 from 4 to 9 PM and on
Monday August 25 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in
Trenton
Memorials can be made to Poor Handmaids of Jesus Church Religious
Congregation, American Parkinson Disease Association or to the donor’s
choice and will be received a the funeral home
