Velita E. Hickam, nee Ollis, 83, of Trenton, died Monday, January 03, 2005 at Aviston Countryside Manor

 She was born December 23, 1921 in Cobden to Roscoe and Cora Isabelle (Peterman) Ollis; they preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by a son, David Allen Hickam, a brother, James Roscoe Ollis, and sisters, Helen Jacques, Stella Camden, Janey Sweinfurth, and Juanita Murrie

 She married Russell Hickam on April 17, 1940 in Cape Girardeau, MO; he survives in Trenton

Also surviving is a daughter, Jo Ann Hickam of Trenton, and a son Jack (Patti) Hickam of Belleville

 A Grandson, John Hickam of Belleville

 Numerous Nieces and Nephews

 Velita was a homemaker 

She was a member of Westgate Baptist Church

 Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 10 AM at Westgate Baptist Church in Trenton with Rev. Michael May officiating.  Interment will follow at Trenton Cemetery.

 Visitation will be Tuesday, January 4, 2005 from 3 to 8 PM and again on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 from 8 to 9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s Choice and will be received at the funeral home
