Florence C. Holtgrave (Nee  Venhaus) 85 of St. Rose died Thursday January 12, 2006 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese 

She was born October 14, 1920 in Aviston to Bernard and Catherine (Dall) Venhaus: they preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by a brother Ludwig Venhaus, sisters Marcella Venhaus, Alma “Sis” Rohling, Brothers –in-law Joseph Kohlbrecher and Ed Rohling, a sister-in-law Marie Venhaus 

She married Cletus Holtgrave February 11, 1947 at St. Francis Church in Aviston and he survives in St. Rose 

Also surviving are son Kenneth (Marlene) Holtgrave of St. Rose, Mark (Pat) Holtgrave of Cincinnati, OH 

Daughters Joyce (Louis) Timmermann of Breese, Vivian (Jeff) Luebbers of Aviston 

12 Grandchildren Lynette (Tom) Sherman , Leann (Beau) Cotton, Cristy (Nathan) Stone, Kyle Timmermann, Justin, Jared, Jordan and Trevor Holtgrave, Kimbraly (Andy) Kettler, Amanda, Alicia and Jennifer Luebbers

Florence was a cook for 15 years at St. Rose Grade School and a homemaker 

Member of St. Rose Church and Ladies Sodality, Clinton County Farm Bureau 

Funeral Mass Monday January 16, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Rose Church with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating. Interment St. Rose Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Sunday January 15 from 4 to 9 PM and on Monday January 16 from 8 to 10:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to St. Rose Church Building Fund or Diabetes Association and will be received at the funeral home
