She was born July 17, 1922 in Breese
to Victor and Eulalia (Gissy) Hummert and the step-daughter of
Bertha (Sartory) Hummert: they preceded her in death
Also preceded in death by brothers;
Thomas A. Hummert, Henry C. Hummert, Richard “Dick” Hummert, Robert
“Rob” Hummert and a brother-in-law Robert “Bob” Timmermann
She is survived by a brother Victor
(Roselyn) Hummert of Lafayette, LA
Sisters Mary Louise (Nelson) Harper
of Lawrence KS, Katherine “Toots” Timmermann of Breese
Celeste was retired from St. Joseph
Hospital in Breese from the House keeping department
Member of St. Augustine Catholic
Church and Altar Sodality, Breese American Legion post 252
Auxiliary, Breese Senior Citizens
Funeral Mass of Christian burial will
be Monday October 13, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Breese with Fr. Chuck Tuttle
officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery
Visitation will be Sunday October 12
from 4 to 8 pm and Monday October 13 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss
Funeral Home in Breese
Memorials can be made to Mater Dei
High School, All Saints Academy or Heartland Hospice, and will be
received at the funeral home
Breese American Legion Aux. will hold
services 7pm Sunday at the funeral home. |
