Irene S. Koerber 93 of Trenton and formerly of Millstadt died Friday June 16, 2006 at her residence.

She was born May 7, 1913 in Hecker, IL to Jacob and Josephine (Noltner) Neff: they preceded her in death

She married Levern W. Koerber July 26, 1933 in Red Bud and he preceded her in death October 12, 1991

Also preceded in death by grandsons Thomas Lee Halusan and Daniel Thomas Halusan, brothers; Edward Neff, Ralph Neff, Jerry Neff and Paul Neff, sisters; Celestine “Sally” Probst and Clementine Buckhannon

 Surviving are sons Myron (Kayla) Koerber of New Baden, Dale (Nancy) Koerber of Red Bud

 A daughter Joan (Thomas) Halusan of Trenton

 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild

 A brother-in-law Herbert Probst of Hecker

 Irene was a home maker

 Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 20, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.. Interment St. Augustine Cemetery in Hecker

 Memorials can be made to Diabetis Association or the Donor’s Choice and will be received through the Moss funeral home in Trenton
